With a fuze system protected by five stages of mechanical, electronic and software safety, a proximity sensor with adjustable detonation distance and directed-fragmentation munition, MERKÜT delivers decisive engagement against critical targets.

Proximity sensor
A detonation distance adjustable between 0.5 and 12 metres optimises fragment dispersion against differing target types. The operator can select this distance dynamically at any stage of the mission, maximising fragment density and effective area for the target at hand.
Visual guidance technology
GNSS-independent precision guidance through AI-assisted image processing and autonomous target tracking. Electro-optical and thermal sensor fusion sustains operational superiority in all conditions.

Autonomous tracking after lock
Once the operator designates a target on the image feed, the system tracks it fully autonomously. Targets can be updated in flight.

AI-assisted target detection
Real-time image processing provides operator-assisted and AI-assisted automatic target detection, with a high false-alarm rejection rate.

GNSS-independent operation
Uninterrupted operation under electronic warfare and GPS jamming. Visual navigation algorithms deliver precision guidance with no satellite signal.
Electro-optical mode
A high-resolution digital camera delivers a clear image and precise target discrimination in daylight operations. Real-time video transmission gives the operator full situational awareness.
Thermal imaging
A heat-signature thermal sensor detects targets at night and in low visibility, remaining effective against camouflaged and concealed targets.
